The week here runs from Saturday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are the weekend. From 1-4 it is difficult to shop or make business appointments since this is lunch and qat time. Qat is a leafy substances that many people (mostly men) chew. So Friday there was not much work but we met with a gentlemen at the office who wants to be a consultant for the firm. He comes from working in an advertising agency. He ultimately wants more money than we have for such a position. It was an informative talk and I asked him to help us with our recruitment of new trainees that will occur in January. We also paid the ladies who cleaned the house for us AFTER we inspected. Lesson learned. The house is coming along very nicely.

On Saturday, Tito cleaned the yard at the office. We met with guys from the Embassy at the office. We measured and order mattresses for the beds. And have started to move a few things into the house. Lots to do there. Mr. A. also helped me open a bank account here in Yemen. It is a personal account until or business license is issued. But it will allow me to get cash in the country more easily.

We hope to move in one or two days from the Hotel to the house.
