I arrived on Tuesday morning and Saeed was waiting at the airport for me. He drove me to the house where I spent time unpacking. Kerry came home at noon. There was a meeting with Embassy rep: Anthony and a hip hop artist name A.J. who we may involved with the Radio station. Chris arrived on the morning of the 26th. His suitcase with his clothes had ended up in India and his luggage tags were on someone else’s luggage. Kerry was in full swing with interviews for prospective trainees for the March segment of the training program. The week was filled with jet lag, getting over a cold/flu, doing interviews, and just really getting adjusted. We also had to make inquiries into payments for the invoices we had sent out. Thursday and Friday we worked half days. Saturday with interviews and starting to have meetings with Shabab, and with other partners the days filled up. Egypt was having problems and we were on guard for issues around here. Kerry was planning a big opening on the 3rd of February. That was changed to the 2nd as demonstrations were planned for the 3rd and perhaps the 4th. Classes starting on the 5th, we are all getting our materials in shape. Pictures, and video of the party to come.
